We found that accurately sculpting and contouring the patient’s waistline, and shaping the upper abdomen with liposuction, created the need for a much smaller incision and less lifting of tissues. This safer and more effective procedure produces a beautiful waistline in addition to a flat tummy. Because the incision is much smaller than the traditional tummy tuck and the surgery is less invasive, if there is a need for a drain, it will be in for less than twenty-four hours. The recovery period is less uncomfortable and the end results are completely flattering.
